Board Templates

To create a board template using the Templating.app, follow these steps:

Navigate to the Templating.app and click on „Board Templates“ as an administrator.
Go to administration and configure an API token to enable this feature.
Create a new API token, copy it, and save the configuration.
Return to the Board Templates section, click on „Create Template,“ and fill in the required details.
After creating the template, go to the Board Template Overview to see the newly created template.

To give permission to users to create boards based on templates:

Open the Templating app, go to Board Templates, and then to the Administration page.
Click on „Permissions“ and add groups or users who should have the ability to create boards based on templates.
Update permissions to allow the defined groups or users to create boards based on templates.

Create a board based on a Board Template:

Access the Templating app, click on Board Templates, and select a template.
Choose a project for the new board, provide a name, and click on „Create Board.“
The configurations from the original board will be copied, and you can start editing as needed.

To create a new project based on project templates:

In the Templating app, navigate to Project Templates and go to Administration.
Select an existing project template or create a new one and configure the boards section.
Choose one or multiple board templates for users to select when applying the project template.
Update the template and return to the Project Templates overview.

Now, users can create a new project linked to a board by selecting the desired board template during project creation.
